Douglas who is a Mechanical Engineer has over fifty years experience in Project Management and Project Cost Control whilst working for leading Engineering Consultants overseeing Major Oil and Gas as well as Mining Projects in India, Middle East and Australia including Infrastructure in the value of hundreds of millions of Dollars.
Douglas’work included the setting up of Joint Ventures partnerships with Developers and Building/Contracting companies in the field of Infrastructure and Commercial/Retail/Mixed Use building project developments. His responsibilities included Liaising and following up with Architects, Detail Engineering Design Consultants to ensure that projects are completed in time, within budget and built in accordance with proper specification and quality.
After obtaining his engineering diploma through the Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute Mumbai whilst undergoing his apprenticeship at the Powai establishment of Larsen and Toubro, Douglas spent ten years with Kvaerner Powergas India Pty Ltd on numerous Construction Management Projects located across the length and breath of India. He continued working in the field of Project construction, maintenance and cost control during his Middle Eastern and Australian employment.
In joining ACR as a director, Douglas will contribute his very valuable expertise and knowledge that will enable ACR to conduct our proposed projects to our clients in a most effective and professional way.
